Virginia Commonwealth University - 2018 Richmond, VA, United States Criminal Justice, B.S. Criminal Justice After applying to VCU as a Lighting Design major for the Theatre Arts program, I took classes specifically relating to technical theatre for my entire freshman year of college. I soon realized that technical theatre was not my calling, and that I was definitely interested in pursuing a career in Criminal Justice. Starting at a young age, I was drawn to all things law enforcement. I did as many camps as I could with the local police departments, mainly with the Hampton Police Department in Virginia. During this camp I learned about all of the different jobs in the department. This camp peaked my curiosity and definitely gave me the idea to pursue a job in this career field. I want to get an internship over the summer that relates to this field and I think that an internship at the CIA would be amazing. I want to be an intern not only because of the amount of skills and knowledge that could be taken from it, but also because I am very excited to start this career path. I want to work at the CIA because I would really like to get an idea of what it would be like to work in a government law enforcement agency.
