Community Manager - ( September 2011 - Current) IRET Properties, Rochester, MN (USA) I manage an apartment complex with 146 apartments, 6 employees, and a budget of over $250,000. I am responsible for hiring, firing, payroll, risk management, performance reviews, and scheduling. I am also responsible for maintaining a working budget while updating and doing regular maintenance of the building. I also complete all weekly, monthly, and annual reports including the budget, occupancy records, and demographics. I work with confidential material on a daily basis. I also mediate conflicts and complaints regularly and must find immediate solutions to problems.
Assistant Community Manager - ( July 2008 - September 2011) IRET Properties/INH Property Management, Rochester, MN (USA) I assisted in the management of 146 apartments and 5 employees. I was in charge of maintaining maximum occupancy through sales and communication. I handled all resident conflict and managed all documentation of every interaction. I also handled confidential information on a daily basis. I was hired by INH Property Management, which was a third party management company hired by IRET Properties. I then was hired on by IRET Properties when they released INH Property Management. In 2008, I was promoted to Community Manager.
Customer Service Associate - ( January 2002 - December 2008) J.C. Penney, Rochester, MN (USA) I worked as a cashier, ordering specialist, stocking specialist, customer service associate, trainer, and did displays. I worked in every department and was promoted to work in a commissioned department due to my ability to sell and multitask. I constantly worked with a diverse group of people. I also handled unhappy customers and dealt with various stocking and sizing problems. I worked throughout my last year of high school and throughout college until I obtained my job as an Assistant Community Manager after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Winona State University.
I hold at least twice a year a donation drive for Channel One Foods through my residential community organizing everything myself. Last year we were able to donate over 475 pounds of food. I am also a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
