I have a passion for design. I am a designer of techniques and machine and from my graduation degree and my study and research in the field I have chosen to excel and thrive in the field of simulation and analysis. I want to be associated with design and the analysis of material components in my future endeavors. I have been a part of many design research programs, study and innovation. And my love for the field drives me to become better at it at every stage on learning.
Currently doing a project in Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, as my final year project for a span of one year in the field of finite element analysis of composite materials. I am currently working as a research student in the mechanical engineering department under Prof. Parag Tandaiya. My research has given me the opportunity to learn about fracture mechanics and continuum theory of plasticity. I have developed my knowledge on solid mechanics. My interest in the area has grown and I learnt the subject from the basics, concept by concept. My research was in Finite element analysis of ex-situ reinforced bulk metallic glass composite?. My study is on the finite element analysis of a composite reinforced with particles and fibers and by unit cell analysis the stress analysis of the composite is to be conducted by varying the various parameters of the reinforcement and characteristics of the matrix and fibers. For this study I have been given the opportunity of do this project on ABAQUS software along with MATLAB.
December 2011 - January 2012 / VIT University, MUMBAI, Maharashtra Robotics Simplified Conducted research based learning project under ThinkLabs, Sine IIT Bombay. The project dealt with the basic understanding of robots and the mechanism of the movement of the joints in coordination of the motors. Worked on a simple line following mobile trained robot.
December 2013 - April 2013 / i4D (Design for Innovation) , Vellore , Tamil Nadu Braille Pen B-Tech 2nd year, Professor Dr. Ted Moallem, Researcher from MIT () , joined VIT University with the start of Innovation Center, which centered to innovate and make practical devices for the use of the blind. 10 teams worked on different projects, and from a student population of 25000 students 50 students were given the opportunity to be mentored by him. Within a period of 6 months, a braille pen with a simple and effective mechanism was made, to help the blind to draw and write in braille, project titled Braille Pen?. It was manufactured and distributed for use to test its application in a blind school in Vellore, and the results were positive. It was later on also presented in the Make-a-thon? project fair, held in India in 2012.
December 2013 - April 2013 / VIT University, MUMBAI, Maharashtra Grinding Machine design A new design was modeled and analysed of a Mechanical Grinding Machine, for decreasing the man power required and also increasing the efficiency of the flour grinding machine and a prototype was created to study its analysis. A belt and lever system was used to make the grains finer i.e reduce particle size by increasing the cycle of grinding per intake of flour. The project was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Rajkumar E, VIT University.
January 2014 - June 2014 / VIT University, Mumbai, Maharashtra Reinforcement of coir fiber in a steel matrix. An analysis was conducted under the mentor-ship of Prof. Venkatchalam, VIT University. The research involved stress analysis of composite materials reinforced with coir (coconut) fiber with uni-axial loading. The effect of stress with respect to fiber length and volume fraction was studied and its dependence on the the number of fibers for a constant volume fraction of the reinforcement.
January 2014 - July 2014 / VIT University, MUMBAI, Maharashtra Investigation of flexural and dynamic behavior of sandwich panels made of Aluminum and hybrid polymer. The research investigated the flexural and dynamic behavior of sandwich panels made of aluminum and hybrid polymer. The work dealt with a sandwich panel made of Aluminum and Hybrid polymer where the hybrid polymer is made from CNSL (Casher Nut Shell Liquid) and general purpose resin. Different sandwich panels with varying percentage of CNSL were manufactured by using layup technique. The flexural strength through a finite element analysis of the three point bending test of the sandwich panel was investigated both experimentally and numerically with the use of ANSYS software.

July 2013 - July 2014 / Youth Red Cross- VIT, Vellore, Tamil Nadu Student Secretary Volunteer for the Youth Red Cross VIT, a social organization, that encouraged students to visit the villages near Vellore and solve the problems of electricity and water by the simple knowledge of what was taught to us during our classes. A team of 5 students of Mechanical engineering department along with the guidance of our Professor, Dr. Suneetha V, solved the problem of water and electricity in 3 villages surround the Vellore District. Later on in the following year, I became the student President of the club for tenure of one year, during which many social events and problems were solved, highlighted and spread in the university as well as the town the university was located in.
July 2013 - July 2014 / Make A Difference, Vellore, Tamil Nadu Wingman, Team Propel Make A Difference As a Propel wingman, the responsibility was of 2 girls from Pastor Home shelter home, Vellore and helpe them to achieve their dream. Thus, they successfully completed their 12th class along with currently pursuing their graduation in nursing school.

July 2012 - September 2013 / Formula SAE @ VIT - Team Pravega, Vellore , Tamil Nadu Design Head Headed the design team of Pravega Racing. The teamis aim is to conceptualize, design, fabricate, test and race a single seater, formula style car and participate in the Formula Student , FSAE event. The Formula Student event sees a participation by 570 universities from across the globe and is held at 8 places around the world throughout the year. Participated with the design in FSAE Italy - 2013 with an Overall position - 20th ->Cost - 2nd ->Business - 11th and ->Design - 19th (98 pts of 150).
