Sheet Metal Fabrication (6/15/12 - Current)

Universal Dynamics, Woodbridge, Virginia

My basic daily duties include all aspects of sheet metal fabrication. Operation of the press brake, CNC laser and lathe, basic welding and assembly of parts that I manufactured with a tolerance of 1 ten-thousandth. I assist in the loading and unloading of trucks when the receiving department is busy. I do all the maintenance and trouble-shooting on equipment that I operate, and comply with all OSHA safety guidlines

Copper and slate roofer (1/13/11 - 6/15/12)

NVC Inc., Lorton, Virginia

Installed roofing systems. I became proficient at reading and interpreting CAD drawing I received from the engineers. I worked on all size government contracts large and small from start to finish and working closely with the manufacturers to ensure the warranty can be meet. I was promoted later on to the office where I typed out bid submittals and proposals along with customer service and performed the final job walk through.

I went through the ranks from E1- E5, I earned a Navy achievement Metal, ASW and enlisted surface warfare pin(ESWS) and many other ribbons and awards. The military instilled values in me that I will always have some of which are hard-working, motivated, excellent team player, I can be given a task and work diligently until I have accomplished it to the best of my ability.
