As a Senior at Glenbard West I have indulged myself from activities such as Forensics, Mawi (a student based program to spread leadership), student council, lacrosse, Key Club, S.T.E.M. , and AP Capstone ( a program/class designed to allow students to self teach through the use of singular research and learn to cooperate within a group on topics that are obscure to our knowledge). Through out my high school career I have attended either honor classes or college AP level classes. With in the past summer and year I have volunteered in many organizations. My first ever volunteering opportunity was at Easter Seals, were I was selected in a program to help children with speech impediments and other physical or mental disabilities be able to express themselves through writing (this program is know as Word Wizards). I truly enjoyed the program so I decided to volunteer in their child development center for toddlers. I also volunteer at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in their ER. During this I applied to become a Pharmacy Technician which has opened many new opportunities for me.
